The Purdue Student Senate

Three Senators elected from each college

The Purdue Student Senate approves student fee allocations and confirms executive appointments. Senators also sit on University Senate committees to represent the student perspective to faculty and staff. The Student Senate may pass resolutions on behalf of the student body for various purposes, one being to lobby administrators or lawmakers.

Senators are elected in the Spring of each academic year by their constituencies. Every student has a right to vote.
